Day 01: Guwahati Railway Station /Airport - Shillong
(Distance from Guwahati - Shillong is 120 Km. / 3.5 hrs. Approx)
Meet & Greet on arrival at the Guwahati airport/Railway Station & proceed to Shillong, also called 'Scotland of the East" (120 kms 3.5 hrs). . Enroute visit Borapani Lake. Umiam Lake or Barapani - is the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya, a majestic placid lake surrounded by Sylvan hills. On arrival check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Shillong
Day 02: Shillong - Cherrapunjee - Shillong
(Distance from Shillong - Cherrapunjee is 60 km/1˝hrs approx)
After breakfast excursion trip to Cherrapunjee ( 60 kms 1˝hrs), which is the wettest place on Earth offers roaring water falls, limestone caves, living root bridge, & galore of water & adventure activities. Witness the gorgeous Seven Sisters falls & visit the Mawsmai cave & Thangkharang Park Evening return to Shillong, en-route visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. Overnight stay will be at Shillong.
Day 03: Shillong - Guwahati
(Distance from Shillong - Guwahati is 120 Km. / 3.5 hrs. Approx)
After breakfast start for a half day excursion shillong Like Lady Hydari Park is a Japanese style landscaped park endowed with streaches of roses & exquisite flowers. Then drive to Guwahati (120 kms 3.5 hrs). Arrive and check in at hotel. Evening visit 'Kalakshetra', a place where Assamese history and culture presents through Light and sound show or take an evening cruise on the mighty river Brahmaputra. Return to hotel. Overnight stay will be at Guwahati .
Day 04: Guwahati
After breakfast check out from hotel visit Kamakhya Temple and with everlasting memories transfer to Guwahati airport/railway station for onward journey. |
